Kinesi Systems Follows
the Process Below to
Complete each Upgrade.
|

Your device may be returned before any
work has been done for one or more of
the following reasons:
|
|
|
Quality is Achieved Through
Consistency and Training
|
|
1. Package and device found to be damaged in shipment to Kinesi Systems; and,
2. Testing before the upgrade is performed shows
the device does not work.
|

|
|
The following steps are taken to complete the
upgrade of your iPaq or expansion sleeve. All
findings and actions will be documented in the
associated Work Order:
1. When received, your package and contents
will be confirmed as being intact and complete,
including the form indicating the work being
requested and payment;
2. A work Order will be raised to detail the
unit being upgraded, initial condition and the work
requested;
3. The iPaq or Expansion Sleeve will be
verified as operational on AC Power. Missing
and non-operational components will be recorded
on the Work Order;
4. You will be contacted and given the Work
Order number and informed of any findings that may
impact completion ofthe work;
5. Exterior of the device will be cleaned
using a mild, non-abrasive, cleaner;
6. The unit is opened and the interior
checked for dust and other foreign matter. Dust and
other loose matter will be removed using canned air
and a fine non-metalic brush.
7. If your original battery is not working,
we will test using an original equipment battery
before upgrading to a PGF Battery. Once satisfied
the unit operates normally on the original battery
the requested PGF Battery will be installed and
normal operation confirmed and recorded;
8. If requested, HyperDrive will be installed
and normal operation confirmed and recorded;
9. The unit is re-assembled and tested; and,
10. The Work Order is closed and the unit
packaged for return shipment. A copy of the Work
Order is placed in the package.

in detail. Staff are trained in each step and
results monitored for possible improvement.

How We Protect Your Device
All staff are issued an anti-static strap
for use while handling devices. This prevents
damage due to static discharge by making the
work area the same electrical level.

Why Each Device Is Cleaned
Each unit arriving at Kinesi Systems
has the potental to impact our people.
The origin and environment each comes
from is unknown and therefore must be
cleaned.
Wearing protective gloves and using a
mild anti-bacterial solution the
exterior is cleaned and then dried using
canned air.
