FAQ -- Frequently Asked Questions

This page contains answers to common questions handled by our support staff, along with some tips and tricks that we have found useful and presented here as questions.

Note: In these answers we will follow a few shorthand conventions for describing user-interface procedures. Key combinations will be presented like this: Ctrl+Alt+Delete, which means that you should press and hold down the Control key, the Alt key, and the Delete key at the same time. Menu selections will be presented like this: File->Open, which means that you should open the File menu, and then make the Open selection. A name or term enclosed in square brackets refers to a command button, like [Reports]

How do I install the Equine Solutions PAC 1c update?

1. Download the Equine Solutions update into an empty sub-directory.

2. Go to a DOS screen

3. Type ESUPDATE and press <enter>

4. Then run setup.exe and follow the instructions.

You can change the date entry style using the Tools->Environment menu. The program default is dd/mm/yyyy.

ESM Dressage - Test Movements

These have been included for several reasons. A method of generating a special needs test was requested so that local organisers could create their own. For judges to use when considering changes for recommendation to the regional or national boards. Also, to provide ability to perform analysis on the score data. ESM creates an image of the test for each ride being evaluated and stores the results entered.

ESM Dressage - Order of Ride Changes

Once the order of ride is generated you may move individual rides within a class by exchanging ride times. This is done through the Entrants screen.
